RaveNous (GSV-I1·∞) is an indirect-control civic simulation: rather than moving a player character directly, the player dispatches a murder of named ravens — semi-autonomous agents with rolled traits, bonds, and scars — to watch a ward, steal a permit, befriend a resident, or sit on a cache until it ripens, then leaves them to act independently while away. The return is not a resolved numeric outcome but a narrative fragment (an official caught doing something now fears crows; a tenant who overheard something starts leaving out bread), and the murder carries no assigned morality — whether it protects or torments residents emerges entirely from the pattern of what the player tips it toward, with no explicit alignment or virtue stat. The design draws explicitly from five reference games: Dwarf Fortress's agents-you-direct-rather-than-puppet model, Factorio's world-continues-while-you're-away systems, SimCity's drifting ward-level meters, The Sims's legible individual characters, and Heart of the Machine's refusal to assign the player a stated virtue; eighteen locked decisions in the project's vision document fix this approach, leaving content authoring and a shared roll-engine extraction as the remaining work, each tracked as its own sprint. The build in progress is a Next.js 16 / React 19 / Tailwind v4 progressive web app with a pure TypeScript reducer (lib/game.ts) serving as the single source of truth, tested module-by-module across flock, ward, resolve, story, drift, and cycle systems. As of the most recent portfolio survey, RaveNous had no discoverable GitHub repository, zklw or local disk presence, or session history outside its own vision document — it exists as a fully speculed design with locked decisions and an in-progress reducer-based codebase, positioned as GSV's most concept-pure entry in generative-games, ahead of broad public verification of its build status.
