Vibecology (GSV-B2, media-ecology pace-layer) is a concept-stage system for reading contemporary queer style, self-fashioning, and intimate vernacular as art rather than as identifying data. Its mechanism treats outfits, reference boards, public scene texture, profile language, and self-description as cultural signals — inputs for surfacing pattern, texture, wit, and experimentation across a protected source corpus and approved aggregates — while the explicit design constraint is to reveal collective legibility without narrowing toward any one individual. Architecturally the project is organized as a layered product boundary rather than a single app: JawnCloud serves as the clothes-and-wardrobe substrate, Vibecology itself is the style-interpretation, onboarding, and discovery layer, Viberarium holds the protected corpus, Tracery governs the relation grammar linking signals together, Weave is the public navigation surface, and Fieldreport is the seasonal publication layer turning approved signals into cultural reportage — summarized in the project's own shorthand: JawnCloud remembers the clothes, Vibecology interprets the style, Fieldreport publishes the seasons. Five binding principles enforce the design rather than merely aspiring to it: anonymity first (no faces, handles, or directly identifying detail), queer abundance over flattening, aesthetic reading of fits and captions as vernacular art, consent-aware curation across ingestion and storage, and beauty without voyeurism — backed by mechanisms including a `keur` pre-publication gate and k-anonymity-style thresholds. Within the GSV portfolio it connects most directly to JawnCloud (the wardrobe substrate it builds on) and Fieldreport (its publication output), and the strategy grounding also places it alongside underground-beets, Horza, and auxology as related media-ecology/life-systems-heart work. Status: a Next.js app is building, and the project has active beads and a ratified charter, but it remains concept-stage — the interpretive and publication pipeline is designed in detail while the underlying corpus and enforcement mechanisms are still early.
