Infinite Fun Space is the program home of the pace-layer universe: canon, roadmap, and chronicle contracts binding seven simulation games into one timeline, each rendering the same world at a different speed, from street fashion to deep time.
Infinite Fun Space
Infinite Fun Space (GSV-K1·∞) is General Systems Ventures' cross-project canon layer, positioned at the slowest pace-layer tier in the GSV catalog. It is not itself a game but the connective tissue binding seven sibling games into one observed universe: fashionsomething, RaveNous, shadow-work, Elf Revel, Underground Beets, After Them, and Mind State. GSV's catalog already files every project by pace layer, from fast-moving media to deep, slow substrate; this project takes that filing scheme literally, treating the seven games as the same universe viewed at seven different speeds. The repository itself holds only what must outlive any single game: the canonical cross-project timeline, a phased program roadmap, and a cross-repo backlog index. The load-bearing mechanism is an isomorphism between fiction and architecture. In the fiction, everything that persists across ages takes the form of memory — chronicle, myth, relic, lineage. In the code, every game in the constellation already keeps its own event-sourced memory organ: a typed event outbox, a Chronicle, an elf's Engramica, a tape lineage, a catalog of generated Works. Rather than unifying the universe through a shared binary, GSV unifies it through a single chronicle-and-provenance export contract — the Engramicon — that each game's memory organ writes to. Fast layers propose events; slow layers remember them. This contract already has a working proof: a headless shadow-work simulation spanning roughly 164 simulated years exports a chronicle that Elf Revel's world generator ingests as founding myths, with each myth's provenance traceable to the specific exported event that produced it. The architecture is deliberately three-tier, with Palettice named as the living graph beneath the canon (per GSV's broader project index, engines are read as views over it and the Engramicon as its interchange format). Current status: the Engramicon contract, roadmap, and backlog index exist, and one cross-game pipeline (shadow-work chronicle → Elf Revel myth generation) is proven end-to-end; broader integration across the remaining games is ongoing rather than complete.
