Viberary (GSV-B5·⬡, media-ecology pace-layer) is registered as an intent rather than a built system — the oldest repository in the GSV collection, created 2024-06-06 and last touched a day later. Its entire specification is its name: a 'vibe library,' a reader's-mood book recommender that would surface titles by felt quality rather than by genre, author, or star rating. The repository itself contains no recommendation logic, no catalog, and no encoding of 'vibe' as data — it is an unmodified Expo (React Native / TypeScript) scaffold, the stock create-expo-app template with its default 'Welcome / Step 1: Try it' home screen still in place. What the system would mechanically require — a mobile front end where a reader describes a mood or half-remembered feeling and the system matches it against a taste representation of books — is legible from the name and the org's later work, but none of that matching mechanism was ever implemented here; it was never started in this repo. Its significance in the portfolio is positional rather than functional: as the earliest dated experiment in the set, it marks the first time GSV's recurring question — can taste be made addressable as data? — was given a name and a repository, a question later pursued with actual working mechanism in the taste-engine line, notably Prosa and auxology, which it connects to conceptually though not technically. Honest current status: this is a one-day-old, unmodified scaffold with zero implementation — a placeholder for an idea, not a working recommender, prototype, or even a stubbed data model. Anyone building on Viberary today would be starting from a blank Expo template and the name alone.
