Remontoire (GSV-X9, pace-layer X) is a standalone L2 portfolio agency for the Sylveste software factory. It owns the recurring decision loop between research, backlog state, execution, and roadmap revision: observe canonical evidence, rank opportunities by consequential uncertainty, propose at most one deduplicated P4 experiment, wait for approval of the exact evidence-contract hash, execute through an existing coding harness in an isolated worktree, measure the declared benchmark independently, obtain structured review, and compound the outcome into later scoring and the generated roadmap. Remontoire does not replace the surrounding systems. Beads remains the backlog source of truth; Intercore provides durable cycle state, locks, replay inputs, and signed receipts; Ockham provides strategic intent and dispatch policy; Interpath regenerates roadmap artifacts; Codex and Claude remain execution and review harnesses. The authority boundary is mechanical: policy limits repositories, paths, time, cost, network access, and production actions; approval becomes stale if the contract changes; production merges, pushes, and deployments remain human-controlled. The v0.1 service is installed on zklw with a scheduled systemd timer. A live approved canary completed the full observe-to-compound cycle and produced a verifiable replay receipt without granting the agent production-landing authority.
